24 Hours in Killcare.

We just spent the past 24 hours in the lovely little area known as Killcare. Jack pointed out to me, that it was a very unusual name. Killcare is a beach at the bottom of a hill, which is peppered with very fancy houses. From the beach, you can look up towards the cliffs and be very much reminded of the artworks by Fred Williams.

We hung out with Bev and her family. Watching the kids scamper over the rock pools, collecting crabs and squealing, we talked about the stuff chicks tend to do. Kids, the going ons in the world, eyebrows, husbands, blogging, memories of New York, what our little TV stint is going to look like this year (we have been asked back!), good things that we have eaten lately and all sorts of other crap.

And then she made me the best gin and tonic ever. Click here for a little film of it.

Bev cooked dinner of marinated chicken, Changs salad and roasted potatoes. Her mum Sue joined us. Then we played HEADS UP. If you have an iPhone, go to the ap  store and download it immediately! Best game ever.

So it was back to Jabba for us this morning where I found out the hard way that cats DO NOT LIKE BEING BY THEMSELVES OVERNIGHT LOCKED UP IN A HOUSE.

And now it is back to the bleach and scrubbing brush for me.
