A study into Australian Laundries plus a giveaway!

On Monday something great happened. Something so great and rare, that I almost thought a street parade might have been in order. A took a photo for future reference and if evidence is ever required if I am involved in some obscure court case regarding washing.

I reached the bottom of the washing pile. I know, right? And since that I have decided to embrace the person that I have clearly become, I actually can admit that I get some sort of a kick out of having a floor, in the laundry, that is not covered in clothes.

Sometimes those clothes were clean, sometimes they were dirty, and on occasion when I let things really turn to shit, a tricky mixture of both. When they are mixed, it provides a lovely task of going through the pile and conducting the sniff test.

The sniff test is a delicate and somewhat dangerous game for the truly strong stomached. I have been known, on occasion, to find myself coming to on the pile of said laundry after conducting the sniff test, particularly after a gruelling huffy puffy session. It is not nice, it is not fun and each time I swear I will try harder with my laundry management skills.

Mr Woog is a keen launderer, but lacks the practical skills to make it worth everyone’s while to take over the task full time. It is just not worth it. The way he hangs a pair of jeans is embarrassing to all concerned. When it comes to the kids clothes, I have a simple rule. Apart from smalls, if it LOOKS clean, it IS clean and gets put away for another day.

Anyway, I digress.

I snapped the above photo an shared it on Facebook, like one does when they are slightly insane and asked the group to share a snap of theirs. Of course, social media is all about sharing, so lets have a look at the various states of laundries around the globe from WoogsWorld Readers.

Or there is this one. This is your beach coastal theme. Did someone say fresh?

If you are the owners of either of these laundries, you are both. very. lucky. And can I have your addresses please.

The laundry is the most used, but often the most neglected space in the house. So my question to you today reader…..

Describe your laundry’s current state.

Or if you are TRULY game and committed, share a snap of yours here.
