Garnier Micellar Water.

If you have been reading this ole blog for a while now, you may recall my short-lived stint doing a weekly segment on Channel 7’s The Daily Edition. It was when Bev and I used to trot along to the city, get hair and makeup done, give Kris Smith a cuddle and share our thoughts on the hot topics of the day.

Oh, and the people that we met!

Anyway, we would have to turn up with hair and make up “done” and because I am a little inept in this area, the lovely Eliza from the makeup department would wipe off my attempt and start from scratch. It was the best part of the whole gig, watching her practice her craft.

All the makeup artists used this magical water to remove makeup and mistakes. It was not a cheap product.

And then the good folk at Garnier bought out their own version of this magical water. (at less than a third of the price)

Let me introduce you!

Pronounced My-seller, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is your one stop shop when it comes to removing your makeup, and boy each Friday after the show, this little beauty came in handy. TV make up is not subtle.

It is colourless, odourless “water” that remove all traces of makeup from your face, eyes and lips. It has an active ingredient called micelles, which acts like little vacuum cleaners all over your face, drawing out anything including extra sebum (zit enhancers) just by simply wiping your skin with a cotton pad, with a bit of Micellar Cleansing water squirted onto it.

The best thing about it is you don’t have to rinse your face at all, at it leaves your skin squeaky clean, ready for some moisturiser.

No rubbing, no scrubbing and no mess.

If there is one thing I cannot stand, it is mayonnaise.

The other thing I hate is going to bed with any sort of makeup on. I just cannot sleep knowing that my skin cannot breathe properly. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is like CPR for your face and leaves your skin feeling soothed. I don’t travel without it.
